We are a non-profit association, Bosque Seco AMOTAPE, created in 2011, RUC: 20409359672, our goals are:
- To improve people’s quality of life and develop their capabilities, especially in the social, economic, environmental, and cultural fields.
- To promote and contribute to developing activities related to tourism and hospitality as a source of growth and improvement of quality of life.
- To promote, design, evaluate, and implement various projects to improve people’s quality of life and protect the environment and biological diversity.
INSPIRING PROJECTS
- Meliponary for breeding stingless bees native to the dry forests, raising awareness, and providing environmental education and research.
- Scientific banding station incorporating Citizen Science with bird banding sessions by NABC-certified ornithologists.
- Interpretation Center with infographics of the maritime and seasonally dry forest ecosystems. Scientific Residence on site. Prior reservation is required.
